The Direct Fire Dryer is highly efficient and it is used for processing agricultural products and waste products into animal feed or industrial product bases.

Is mainly composed by:

- Furnace.

- One step rotary drum.

- Suction box with exhaust fans and cyclone separators for fines.

- Gas ducts for recirculation and atmospheric discharge.

It uses as heat source, among others:

- Fuel oil.

- Natural gas.

- Sugarcane bagasse.

- Wooden chops.

Depending on the application, the water removal capacity of a direct fire dryer can reach 40,000 kg / h.

The gases resulting from the water removal of the product become a source of cheap energy to heat a Waste Heat Evaporator (E.E.R.®).
